At BubbleLetters.app, we want our licensing rules to be straightforward, transparent, and easy to understand. We don't hide behind confusing legal jargon. Whether you are an educator printing letter worksheets for kindergarteners or an Etsy creator making custom embroidered sweatshirts, this page outlines exactly how you can and cannot use our digital assets.
1. Free Files: Personal & Classroom Educational Use
All free PDFs and printable sheets downloaded directly from BubbleLetters.app are licensed under our Standard Personal and Educational Use License.
You do not need to create an account, pay a fee, or provide mandatory public attribution (though sharing our link with fellow teachers is always appreciated!).
What You Can and Cannot Do with Free Files

2. All Styles Pack: Commercial Use Fonts & Lettering License
When you purchase the All Styles Pack ($9.99), you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive Commercial Use License for the letterforms in all 5 styles in that pack: Halloween Pumpkin, Thanksgiving Harvest, Christmas Candy Cane, Snow-Capped, and Gingerbread. The Single Style Pack ($4.99) covers personal and classroom use of one of those styles and does not include this commercial license. Class Names Pack and All-Access Bundle are not for sale yet.
This license is designed specifically for crafters, small businesses, print shops, and makers who need reliable commercial use fonts and graphics for physical and digital client projects.
What You CAN Do with Paid Commercial Files
- Unlimited Physical End Products: Create and sell unlimited physical goods incorporating our lettering—including t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, mugs, stickers, laser-cut wood signs, vinyl decals, greeting cards, and physical classroom bulletin board kits.
- Client Projects: Use the letters in graphic design work, logos, and custom branding created for a single client, provided the raw font or vector files are flattened and not handed over to the client as standalone assets.
- Cricut & Digital Die-Cutting: Import our upcoming cut files into Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Glowforge, Brother ScanNCut, and other craft cutting or laser engraving software for physical production.
- Print-on-Demand (POD): Upload flattened designs incorporating our lettering to print-on-demand services (such as Printful, Printify, or Merch by Amazon) to fulfill physical customer orders.
- Perpetual Duration: Your license never expires. Once purchased, you may continue selling finished products indefinitely.
What You CANNOT Do (Strict Restrictions)
- No Resale or Redistribution of Files: You may not resell, sub-license, donate, or distribute the raw digital files (PDF, PNG, SVG, DXF, or font binaries) in any digital format.
- No Asset Marketplace Uploads: You cannot upload our letters, glyphs, or cut files to digital stock sites, clipart bundles, Canva templates, or digital design marketplaces (e.g., Etsy digital downloads, Creative Fabrica, Design Bundles, Creative Market).
- No Font/Alphabet Repackaging: You may not convert our glyphs into true type fonts, opentype fonts, embroidery font files, or rubber stamps intended for resale as letterform-creation tools.
- No Trademarking of Letterforms: You may not register a trademark, service mark, or copyright claim on individual letters or unmodified letter clusters derived from our artwork.
- Non-Transferable: This license is granted solely to the original purchaser and may not be transferred, sub-licensed, or shared across multiple independent businesses.
3. Third-Party Notices & Font Open Source Credits
We believe in respecting creator rights and software licenses:
- Web Typography: The standard alphanumeric styles rendered in our online preview canvas utilize open-source typefaces (including Fredoka, Luckiest Guy, Rubik Bubbles, Bungee Shade, and Shrikhand) hosted via Google Fonts. These open-source fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL), Version 1.1.
- Seasonal & Thematic Glyphs: The thematic decorative letter artwork (such as our Halloween pumpkin characters, Thanksgiving harvest designs, and Christmas holiday cookies and candy canes) are proprietary illustrated artwork created specifically for BubbleLetters.app.
- Legal Notice: This license summary is provided for clarity and does not constitute formal legal advice. If you have unique enterprise distribution needs or require custom licensing terms, please reach out directly.

The $4.99 Single Style Pack includes the same file types for one style — US Letter and A4 PDFs at 200 dpi, a PNG zip on white, a transparent PNG zip, and a README — and the same personal and classroom rights as the free PDFs. It does not include a commercial license. SVG, DXF, 300 dpi masters, and installable font files are coming soon and are not in either paid pack today.
